Pin Chuan is the Vertical Head for both Homeland Security and Public Sector. Homeland Security provides holistic logistics support to various Home Team agencies such as the Singapore Police Force, the Singapore Civil Defence Force, and the Singapore Prison Service. Public Sector leverages on technology and innovative concepts to provide solutions to the larger Government supporting agencies such as Ministry of Education, National Environment Agency, National Parks Board, and Singapore Elections Department.

He assumed his role as Vertical Head on 1 June 2022. Previously, he was with the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) for 25 years and his last appointment held was Deputy Commander Combat Service Support Command (CSSCOM) / Deputy Assistant Chief of the General Staff (Operations) – CSS.

Pin Chuan is a member of the Industry Advisory Committee for the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT)’s Digital Supply Chain Degree Programme.

During his tenure with the SAF, Pin Chuan was involved in the development and execution of logistics plans for numerous operations. Notable ones include (1) COVID-19 support to the Whole-of-Government; (2) overseas operations support such as Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Relief operations to Afghanistan; and (3) local operations support to major events such as National Day Parades, National Day Rallies, and the General Elections. He also oversaw both peacetime and operational equipping and feeding for the SAF. His experiences in operation planning and control, capability development, leadership, and collaboration with industries to deliver outcomes for various operations put him in good stead to lead the Homeland Security and Public Sector Verticals.

Pin Chuan has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) and Master of Science (Industrial & Systems Engineering) from National University of Singapore (NUS). He also attended the Stanford-NUS Executive Programme in International Management.

Eric has a unique career, spending more than 15 years in the talent development, consulting and training functions. An Engineer by training, he brought his experience to many different industries like public sector, hospitality, banking and finance and most recently transportation. Due to his unique journeys, he is able to use the best practices of different industries into his work.

Mr Tan is the Director, National Centre of Excellence for Workplace Learning (NACE) at Nanyang Polytechnic. At NACE, he drives workplace learning initiatives together with other NACE Centres, with the aim of propagating workplace learning adoption among employers in Singapore.

Working closely with SkillsFuture Singapore and other key partners like SNEF and SMF, he oversees and drives national efforts in industry collaboration and workplace learning, looking at strategies and plans to collaborate with enterprises, industry partners, unions and government agencies.

Ms Azizah is the Lead Specialist at the National Centre of Excellence for Workplace Learning (NACE) Led by Nanyang Polytechnic and is the principal driver of efforts to recognise exemplary organisations to the National Workplace Learning Certification. To date, Azizah has led the certification of thirty organisations for this award.

Azizah has over 25 years’ experience in learning and development. Her scope of work at NACE Led by NYP also involves providing consulting, developing workplace learning curriculum and facilitating programmes for organisations to help them implement workplace learning. In 2020, Azizah played a key role in the design, development and launch of the National Workplace Learning Framework.
